Post the peoples names on here and keep running it. Give as many details as you canHow do i find the relatives of a couples marriage licence i found?
I have done this before.. First look the document over very well. Look at first and last names. Look for county records came from. Look for possible name of church. See if the church still exists and then contact the church to see if any members have the same name of bride and bride groom. Check white pages for same name in/near where the marriage took place. Also check the area the box came from for similar names. Type the last name in your pc for possible family records also check for a genealogy group in the area the box came from and the area the marriage took place. If I can help just let me know, there will be no charges for me to help.
Contact either a TV station or one of the larger newspapers and talk to a reporter. This is the kind of story that the media loves - especially on days when there is so much tragedy in the world. A 'brightener' is worth its weight in gold. And if they carry it, the relatives of the couple may see it, or someone who knows them may see it and you can pass it on to someone who will cherish it.
