There's no way to ';speed up'; the process. Everyone waits his/her turn based on the date the papers are filed.
I'm not sure what job you want, but as a permanent resident you are not eligible for a security clearance and that eliminates you from about 80% of all military jobs.Does any one knowsa way to speed up the process to get a green card trough Marriage?
Most of the US services will accept you for a non-com slot without being a US citizen as long as you are here legally. A pending green card through marriage may be OK. However, you cannot become an officer until you not only get a green card but become a citizen. If you are willing to be a non-com, ask your recruiter. Also I hear the Army may be more willing to relax the standards but you will likely go to Iraq.
if you file now you may have a chance of gettin your residency soon as long as your marriage is legit.my brother in law applied for his green card in jan and by abril he was a resident of the us .he married a us citizen that and a good lawyer helps .
