Why do Democrats think that everyone that's against gay marriage is religious?

I haven't been to church since my parent made me when I was a kid %26amp; I am 100% against it. The bible has nothing to do with it.





Why do they paint anyone who has different beliefs as stupid gun toting bible thumping red necks?





Didn't there parent ever teach them about the birds and the bees? Or did they insult %26amp; ignore them too?Why do Democrats think that everyone that's against gay marriage is religious?
Where do you think the majority of the idea of marriage came from? Religion. Not that that is the only source however it is the reason that clergy can marry couples.





The idea that marriage is between man and woman is something your religious parents taught you. If they had taught you that marriage was a union between any two people who loved each other regardless of their gender, you would not likely feel the same way. Religious you might not be, but religion certainly molded your beliefs.





The main push behind keeping gay marriage illegal is also religion, not state or federal law.





And by the way, the ';caliguy'; needs to know what he is talking about before opening his mouth about things way too far above his intelligence level. Gays generally don't are about whether or not it is called marriage or anything else, the fight is for the right to the union and the rights that come along with marriage.





People use the ignorant argument that marriage should be for a man and a woman because of procreation, well then people who are too old to procreate, infertile, or don't plan on having children should then not have the right to marry either. But I am sure someone can come up with another ignorant argument to support that too.Why do Democrats think that everyone that's against gay marriage is religious?
because the primary goal of all liberals is not to have a right it is to defeat Religious group. It is the same image as the palestinians and Israel palestinians will never accept a peace treaty and concessions because what they want is the eradication of Israel in its entirety.


gay and lesbians could just be happy with having civil union and all the same equal rights as married people. But they don't want that they insist on it being called marriage just to piss people off and nothing else.
Marriage came from religion and as far as I know marriage in most religions is between a man and a woman , if there is some religion with another opinion then hell is a place for it's followers , I personally think that gay marriage is not productive rather a sickening idea . I like my friends but not to the extent to get laid with them yuck .
